Olas service
On Olas (Autonolas), a registered composition of agent instances run by bonded operators — the unit that actually runs, as opposed to a single agent.
Olas separates components, agents and services in its on-chain registries. A component is a piece of code; an agent is a composition of components; a service is a deployment of one or more agent instances, registered with a configuration, a set of operators who bond to run it, and a multisig the instances control. Service registries exist on several chains, each with its own counts.
Staking programmes reward services that meet activity thresholds, which is why Olas has both a registered count and a staked count, and why the two differ. Sato Hub reads both from the registry contracts, per chain, without summing across chains.
A registered service is a record; a staked service has capital behind it and is being checked against an activity rule. Neither says what the service does or whether it does it well.
