Graduation
The moment a bonding-curve token accumulates enough reserve to move to a conventional liquidity pool. Far fewer tokens graduate than launch.
Graduation is the threshold a launchpad sets: once a token's curve has absorbed a set amount of the reserve asset, the contract seeds a standard AMM pool with that reserve and trading moves there. The curve stops being the venue and becomes history.
It is the most useful stage boundary in the launchpad data because it is the first one that costs something. Deploying on a curve is close to free and happens constantly; reaching the graduation threshold requires real buying. The gap between launched and graduated is the single clearest signal in the launch venues.
Graduation is a liquidity event, not a quality event. A graduated token has a pool; it does not have a product, a team or a working agent, and nothing about its price afterwards is implied.
