MetaMask Agent Wallet
Self-custodial MetaMask wallet for AI agents with built-in transaction simulation, threat scanning, and spending controls across EVM chains.
Overview
MetaMask Agent Wallet, announced June 8, 2026, is a self-custodial wallet that gives AI agents access to swaps, perps, prediction markets, and liquidity provisioning across Ethereum-compatible chains while keeping users in control. Every agent transaction is run through simulation, threat scanning, and MEV protection, with malicious transactions requiring 2FA human approval; it offers Guard Mode (spending limits, protocol allowlists) and an opt-in Beast Mode. It supports agent frameworks including OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Cursor. As of launch it is a limited early-access program. Any transaction-protection figures are MetaMask's own stated program, not an independent guarantee.
