Overview

Alby's official MCP server lets agents make Bitcoin Lightning payments by connecting to a user's Lightning wallet over Nostr Wallet Connect, without exposing private keys, and implements NWC, LNURL, and L402 protocol support via the Alby SDK. Available as Alby's hosted server (mcp.getalby.com/mcp) or run locally via npx, and integrates with Claude Desktop, Goose, Cline, n8n, and Windsurf. Plugs into an agent that needs to send or receive Lightning payments.
