Overview
Bybit's official MCP surface lets AI agents query market data and manage trading, positions, account, and assets on the Bybit exchange through natural language, with real-time WebSocket streams for orderbooks, tickers, and executions. Bybit ships two related MCP surfaces: this trading-mcp repo (REST + WebSocket market data, account, wallet, portfolio, trading) and the larger bybit-mcp repo (247 tools covering the full V5 API, incl. bot automation, copy trading, and P2P). Read-only market-data tools work without API credentials; trading tools require HMAC-SHA256 or RSA-SHA256 API keys, with testnet support for practice.
