CoinGecko MCP
Official CoinGecko MCP: hosted free/pro endpoints for live prices, market data, and on-chain DEX analytics.
Last release Jul 6, 2026 · Last commit Jul 11, 2026 · ★ 55
Overview
CoinGecko's official MCP server connects agents to CoinGecko's market data over Streamable HTTP or SSE: live and historical pricing, exchange and trending-coin analytics, and blockchain/DEX pool analytics across multiple networks. It runs as two hosted endpoints — a free shared-rate-limit tier at mcp.api.coingecko.com and a pro tier at mcp.pro-api.coingecko.com requiring a CoinGecko API key — or locally via the @coingecko/coingecko-mcp npm package. A builder wires either endpoint into Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf to give an agent market-data lookups without managing a separate API integration.
