Overview

LNbits MCP is an official, MIT-licensed open-source MCP server for LNbits, a self-hosted Lightning Network accounts and wallet system. It exposes tools for wallet operations (balance, transaction history), payments (create/pay invoices, Lightning address transfers, decode), extension features (LNURLp, TPoS, SatsPay, watch-only wallets), and admin functions gated behind admin credentials. An agent builder plugs it into a self-hosted LNbits instance over HTTPS to give an agent Lightning wallet and payment capability.
