Robinhood Trading MCP
Robinhood Trading MCP is a tool/service by Robinhood Markets, closed source.
Robinhood's first-party MCP server: an agent reads the account and places orders in a separate Agentic trading account, over OAuth.
Overview
Robinhood Trading MCP is the broker's own Model Context Protocol endpoint, announced on 27 May 2026 (https://robinhood.com/us/en/newsroom/robinhood-is-now-open-to-agents/). An agent connects at https://agent.robinhood.com/mcp/trading over Streamable HTTP and authenticates through Robinhood's OAuth flow — the agent never handles a password. Read access covers accounts, positions, balances, transactions and watchlists; orders can only be placed in a dedicated Agentic account funded separately from the primary portfolio, and the connection can be cut from the Robinhood apps. It shipped in beta for equities; the support article now also documents crypto trading, which additionally requires a Robinhood Crypto account. Robinhood documents setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Codex, Codex CLI, Cursor and Grok. The tool list sits behind OAuth, so we have not counted it.
