Overview

ElizaOS (originally Eliza, from the ai16z community) is one of the most widely used open-source frameworks for building AI agents in crypto. It supports multi-agent setups, character files, plugins for chains and social platforms, and connectors for X, Discord, and Telegram. Many onchain agent projects launched in 2024-2025 were built on Eliza.
