Overview

Pinata documents an ERC-8004 workflow: write an agent card (JSON), upload it to IPFS through Pinata, and set the ipfs:// token URI on the ERC-8004 identity registry. The @pinata/erc8004 npm package is an interactive wizard for registering an agent. The repo also holds scripts to register, update, check and set or clear an agent's payment wallet. Pinata's docs list Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Monad and BNB Chain, mainnet and testnet. It covers the storage and registration step only; ERC-8004 allows other storage backends.
