ERC-8004: onchain agent identity
12 implementations · 12 Sato Scored · 7 with deploy specs · updated 2026-08-30
ERC-8004 — "Trustless Agents" — gives an agent an identity that lives on-chain rather than in a company's database: a registry entry an agent can point at, and that anyone can check without asking permission from whoever built it.
It is early. The registry counts we read from mainnet are real, but a registration proves an entry exists, not that the agent behind it is competent or safe. Treat presence here as identity infrastructure, not endorsement.
