Coinbase Agentic Wallets
Coinbase Developer Platform wallet infrastructure built for AI agents, with spend caps, gasless Base settlement, and native x402.
Overview
Coinbase Agentic Wallets is a Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) product, launched February 2026, that gives each AI agent its own MPC-secured wallet purpose-built for autonomous operation: programmable session caps, per-transaction limits, gasless settlement on Base, and native x402 payment support, secured by the CDP Security Suite. It sits above AgentKit (Coinbase's open-source agent skills framework) and uses the x402 protocol so agents can pay for APIs, compute, data, and storage without human intervention. Part of Coinbase's broader 'Coinbase for Agents' lineup.
