OpenSea Agent Skill

Official OpenSea agent skill and MCP server letting AI agents query NFT/token data and execute marketplace operations such as listing, offers, and token swaps.

Last release Sep 1, 2026 · Last commit Sep 1, 2026 · ★ 49

Overview

The OpenSea Agent Skill is an official ProjectOpenSea tool for AI coding assistants that lets agents interact with the OpenSea API to query NFT and token data, list NFTs, fetch listings/offers, and swap ERC-20 tokens via CLI, scripts, or the OpenSea MCP server (mcp.opensea.io). It works with MCP-compatible apps (Claude, Cursor, VS Code, etc.) and supports managed signers including Privy, Turnkey, Fireblocks, and Bankr. Listed here as the agent skill/MCP, not the marketplace itself.

This is the share of our daily checks that succeeded — not an availability guarantee. A check can fail because the host was down, because our runner timed out, or because the network in between dropped it, and only the first of those is a fact about this project. Failures are split by what we can attribute; anything we cannot attribute is counted, not hidden. 49 of these checks predate 2026-09-01, when the probe counted a bot-block (HTTP 403) as a failure and recorded no reason for any failure. Rates spanning that date mix two definitions. Since then: 100%.

opensea-skill v2.21.1

Patch Changes Clarify that Solana offer creation requires a payment-token mint or contract address. Document 11111111111111111111111111111111 as the native SOL currency address instead of suggesting the invalid SOL ticker symbol. This release updates the OpenSea agent skill and its executable offer helper; it does not publish an npm package.

opensea-skill v2.19.2

What's Changed Covers 2.19.1 and 2.19.2, neither of which was tagged at the time. opensea-marketplace : document how to fulfill an ERC20-denominated listing. Read prices through the decimals field rather than assuming 18, since stablecoins commonly use 6 and assuming 18 understates the price by a factor of 10^12. The fulfillment transaction carries value: 0 and the payment is pulled with transferF
